Stride Consulting announced Ken Judy has been named as the company’s Chief Operating Officer.
Judy, who prior to this was Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer at The Daily Beast, will oversee Stride’s long-term technology strategy and implementation. He will also be responsible for the management and professional development of the company’s developer consultants, as well as provide operational support for hiring, retention, and service delivery.
He will report to Debbie Madden, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer.
“As Stride continues to scale, an important condition for achieving our growth goals is hiring an experienced executive with a passion for innovation and process,” said Madden. “Ken’s proven leadership and ability to work across business and technology will enable us to scale while staying true to our mission and values.”
Prior to working at The Daily Beast, Judy was VP of Technology at Simon & Schuster for seven years and was with Oxygen Media before that.
"Stride provides talented teams who encourage collaboration and discipline. They care about the success of their clients and the quality and the value of what they build," said Judy. "It is a privilege to apply my experience building, managing, and coaching technology teams to grow Stride's business, while honoring their dedication to agile principles, diversity, and the work life balance of its consultants."
